John David Seel in his book "Parenting Without Perfection: Being A Kingdom Influence In A Toxic World" says - "I believe strongly that God has more in mind for parents than striving to produce so-called perfect, well-adjusted children. Rather, parenting is first and foremost a call to embody the incarnational life of Jesus in the midst of our family."

The Decatur Presbyterian Youth ministry seeks to support parents by meeting today's youth where they are and instilling within them a love for family, one another, Christ and the gospel. This is done by building relationships with Youth, teaching them and pointing them to Christ at every opportunity to show them the way.

Our ministry consists of grades 6-12. Stampede is our Jr. High ministry for grades 6-8 and YBR is our Sr. High ministry for grades 9-12. We have Sunday School, LIFE! Groups, Bible Studies, and large group outreach meetings.
