The DPC worship band enhances the congregational worship music on Sunday mornings. Musicians with formal and non-formal training work together to help lead the congregation in a “blended” worship format.

The instruments of the band on any particular Sunday include piano, drums, conga, brass, flute, guitar, bass, and keyboard.

Many of the traditional brass and orchestral arrangements come from The Hymnal for Worship and Celebration. Other band arrangements come from PraiseCharts, Sovereign Grace Music, Indelible Grace Music and other contemporary sources. Original arrangements are also used.

The band practices on Wed nights from 7:30 – 8:30 as well as a service “run-through” on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m.
